Recipe management

Prerequisites

  • Enable below 2 lines under the menu Maintenance → Resources → Menu.Root

  • Update the value of below to ‘true’ under the menu Maintenance → Resources → ‘Purchase.Buttons’ and ' Ticket.Buttons’

Steps for auto recipe management

  1. Under menu stock → Maintenance click button ‘UOM’
  2. Click + button. Enter value ‘KG’ in name and symbol fields. Check ‘Base’ checkbox and press save button. (Add any UOMs as per requirement)
  3. Go back to Stock menu. Click button ‘material’. Enter details of material. Fields ‘Name’ and units are mandatory.
  4. Go back to Stock menu. Click button ‘Products’.
  5. Add the product if your product is not there or select the existing product to which you want to add recipe.
  6. Select tab stock and check the check box ‘breakdown’. A new tab, breakdown, will appear.
  7. Add all items in recipe's one by one. Name and units are mandatory fields. 
  8. Once all recipes are entered, click save button.

Now you can sell and purchase and recipes will be automatically managed by the system.
